4 WAYS TO GET RID OF BAD BREATH
Bad breath can be caused by ineffective plaque
removal. This could be due to a hole in a tooth from which the
plaque can’t be removed or a gum problem where plaque stagnates and
starts to give off odorous gases.
Some other causes include
smoking, alcoholic, garlic or fishy foods, coffee or simply not
cleaning your teeth properly. Regular brushing and flossing is the
best defence but you could also try the following:
- Chew parsley leaves to
clean the mouth and mask garlic smells;
- Mix 1 part tea tree oil
to 20 parts warm water and use as a spray;
- Drinking water keeps
saliva flowing and helps prevent bacteria multiplying;
- Add a few drops of
essential oil of cloves to a glass of water and sip throughout
the day.
