1. Brighten grey elbows by rubbing them with half a fresh
lemon -it has a natural bleaching effect. Moisturize the skin
afterwards to counteract the drying effects of the juice.
2. Soak nails in a bowl of olive oil once a weak to
strengthen them.
3. Add a drop of witch hazel to turn ordinary foundation into
a medicated one - it'll work wonders on oily or blemished-prone
skins.
4. When plucking your eyebrows, coat hairs you want to remove
with concealer; it'll help you visualize exactly the shape of brow
you're after.
5. Lip gloss can look sophisticated if you apply just a dot
in the centre of your lower leap.
6. Turn your foundation into tinted moisturizer by mixing a
few drops of it with a little moisturizer on the back of your hand
before applying. It's the perfect blend for summer.
7. If you've run out of loose powder, use a light dusting of
unperfumed talcum powder instead.
8. If you've run out of liquid eyeliner, dip a thin brush
into your mascara and apply in the same way. It works perfectly.
9. If you have hard-to-cover under-eye shadows, cover them
with a light coat of blue cream eyeshadow before using your
concealer.
10. Boost the shine of dark hair by rinsing it with diluted
vinegar. For blonde hair use lemon juice.
