quality machines cost around $200 - $300, but you can find cheaper
ones. Just make sure that the machine contains a froth nozzle for
automatic frothing of milk. Some machines have an extra-long steam
nozzle for tall latte glasses or large milk pitchers.
TIP: make sure you buy good quality coffee to go with it or
the coffee will never taste right, no matter how good your machine
is! Good quality coffee is not only given by the quality of the
original bean. It also depends on how the coffee has been ground AND
packaged. NEVER buy coffee in packets that are not airtight!
Italians would never buy a packet that feels ‘soft’ to the touch or
with bubbles of air in it…
